Lots and lots of water, historic buildings, big squares and joining streets of colourful houses. You could think you're in the South of Europe! Only.. the Swedish are tall and blonde, and in winter bit's a bit colder than down south. Stockholm excist out of fourteen islands, connected by lots of bridges. These fourteen islands are part of a greater group, called the Stockholms skärgård, with more than 24.000 islands. So pupils need to have their swimming diploma. Besides swimming, the Swedish love to play ice hockey. So attent a work shop ice hockey or - after visiting all museums and other historic highlights - go to an ice hockey match at the stadium. But, before you book, please give yourself a Fika (a Swedish coffee break, especially to socialize). Hope to hear from you soon..
