Rochester Bridge

Not an attraction, but yet a nice architectural structure to take some beautiful pictures of (to finish) and to cross over to the neighboring town of Strood. The cast-iron bridge dates from 1856. A piece of British engineering through a combination of ironwork; the use of the original stones from the old stone bridge and the carvings of the lions at the ends of the bridge. From the bridge you can see the U-475 Black Widow lying in the medway, a Russian submarine waiting for restoration.
